RECYCLABLES THAT MAY BE DROPPED OFF

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 9AM. TO 3 P.M. - SATURDAY 9A.M. TO NOON

MIXED PAPER - Leave in designated area. (junk mail and magazinea)

NEWSPAPERS - Black and white or colored newsprint onlyl Remove colored, glossy inserts and advertisements which may be recycled with junk mail. Deposit in designated container. (No brown paper grocery bags or plastic bags.)

CORRUGATED CARDBOARD - Boxes must be broken down and tied.

USED MOTOR OIL - Leave in leak-proof container by designated area.

AUTOMOTIVE BATTERIES - Leave in designated area or return to place of purchase br rebate.

TIN/BIMETAL CANS - Wash thoroughly (a magnet will stick to these containers) and deposit in designated container.

ALUMINUM SODA & BEER CANS - Rinse thoroughly and deposit in (a magnet will not stick to these containers) designated containers.

GLASS BOTTLES & JARS - Wash thoroughly, separate by color (green, brown, and clear) and deposit in designated container.

USABLE CLOTHING - Deposit in Goodwill container.

TELEPHONE BOOKS - Leave in designated area.

NO PLASTICS OF ANY KIND MAY BE LEFT AT THE RECYCLING CENTER

SPECIAL DROP-OFF DAYS

PASSENGER CAR TIRES - A tire drop-off will be held tour times a year. Coupons must be purchased in advance from Town Hall by mail or in person. $1.00 per tire. Proof of vehicle registration is required.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE - Household hazardous waste days are held by Essex County twice a year. Drop off hazardous waste at designated collection point. Includes pesticides, oil-based paint, household chemicals, antifreeze, and herbicides. Call the Essex County Utilities Authority at 857-2350 br further intormation.

SPECIAL TOWNSHIP PICK-UPS
YARD WASTE - Four SPRING RAKE-OUT DAYS are provided in spring and early summer when YARD waste will be picked up curbside in accordance with the special GARDEN DEBRIS BROCHURE mailed to each resident.

LEAVES - Leaves must be raked loose (no plastic or paper leaf bags are to be used) into the street next to the curb for pick-up between September 1 and December 1.

HOUSEHOLD REFUSE - Twice a year. Look for RESIDENTIAL HOUSEHOLD REFUSE BROCHURE, mailed separately. Includes white goods.

CHRISTMAS TREES - Remove all tinsel, wire and plastic bags and place trees curbside.
