| The Strollers Variety Show for Maplewood Seniors | | Date: | May 2nd, 2012 | | Time: | 10:00am | | Information: | The Strollers—the Resident Theatre Company at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts in Maplewood—will present a Variety Show of entertainment for Maplewood Senior Citizens at the next meeting of the Maplewood Senior Citizen Club on Wednesday, May 2nd at l0:00 am at the DeHart Community Center, 120 Burnett Ave, Maplewood, NJ 07040.
The small group of Stroller members in the show will be led by Rachel Kruskal. The program will include readings, songs, and a skit. The Strollers website url is: http://www.thestrollers.org/
The Maplewood Senior Club meets from 10:00 to 11:30 am on the first Wednesday of each month from September through May at the DeHart Community Center. Maplewood residents 60 and older may join. Visitors are welcome. The Center's phone number is (973) 763-0750.
The program starts around 10:30 am following a short business meeting. Refreshments are served and a $1.00 donation to help defray the expense of the refreshments is requested from everyone attending except first-time visitors. Annual dues are $8.00.
The Club is also accepting applications for new members. Registration is open to residents of Maplewood who are age 60 and over. The club has a variety of activities, including movies, entertainment, parties, and trips.
