| Lens of Integration Photography Workshop | | Date: | March 31st, 2012 | | Time: | 10:00am | | Information: | The Coalition on Race will use photography to connect local residents who want to learn more about photography while meeting new and old neighbors during free, Through the Lens of Integration workshops. The four session series is taught by professional photographers, Joy Yagid and Mansa Mussa, and racial integration is the theme. All adults and high school students are welcome. The only requirement is to bring your own digital camera and manual. Workshops cover photography basics, portraits, editing and creating photo collages. Each session is two hours. The first session is Sunday, March 18 from 10 AM – 12 noon at 1978 Art Center, at 1978 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood. Other sessions are Saturday March 31 from 1 PM to 3 PM, Sunday April 29 from 2 PM to 4 PM and Saturday May 19 from 1 PM to 3 PM. Locations will be announced at www.twotowns.org.
