| Aida for Children | | Date: | March 17th, 2012 | | Time: | 11:30am | | Information: | Reserve your seats now for Aida, the second children’s musical production sponsored by South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race in partnership with Opera Soup Productions, LLC. The production interweaves storytelling with music, singing, dancing and audience participation to create a truly magical experience for children ages 3 to 12 years. Internationally acclaimed Mezzo Soprano Lori Brown Mirabal sings the role of Aida and Tenor Dante Fiore performs as Radames with dance performances by the Columbia High School Special Dance and Inspirational Dance Companies. The production is directed by Ruthanna Graves McQueen and produced by Doreen Oliver. There are two shows - 10 AM and 11:30 AM at SOPAC Loft (South Orange Performing Arts Center).
