The Strollers presents INDIAN BLOOD
Date: March 12th, 2010
Time: 8:00pm
Information: The Strollers, Maplewood’s Community Theater celebrating its 78th season, presents A.R. Gurney’s memory play INDIAN BLOOD. Set in Buffalo, NY in the mid-1940s, 16-year-old Eddie is suspended from school three weeks before Christmas for making a drawing in Latin class. He blames his behavior on his Indian blood (his grandfather has told him he's part Seneca Indian). It's Eddie's way of saying, "The devil made me do it," but it's also his way of discovering the wildness inside him and defining his identity. Directed by Robert Coe, the cast features Columbia High School students Charlie Sachs and Liam Longstreet along with Claire McKinney-Mulhern, Peter Wick, Cynthia Ross, David Halpert, Peter Stoffers and Carol Cornicelli.
Performances are March 12th & 13th and 19th & 20th at 8:00 PM and March 14th at 2:00 PM.
All performances are at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts, 10 Durand Road, Maplewood. For more information, go to www.TheStrollers.org or call 973-761-8453.
