| The Irish Origins of Halloween | | Date: | October 25th, 2009 | | Time: | 1:00pm | | Information: | Bring the family to this delightful 2:30 p.m. one-man performance of haunting 18th century music and traditional stories that reveal the Celtic roots of Halloween. Robert Mouland portrays Michael Keane, a real historical figure who came to America in 1754 as harper to the Royal Governor of North Carolina. Also, throughout the afternoon visitors of all ages can play “snap apple” and fortune telling games and enjoy a cup of fresh pressed cider. The Country Store will be open for holiday shopping.
