| Black Woman in Visual Perspective: Hidden in Plain Sight
Gallery 1978 will feature the work of a group of women artists, who have been associated for 38 years, in honor of Women’s History Month. Black Woman in Visual Perspective is an organization of professional women artists formed in 1972 through the vision of Gladys Barker Grauer, Eleta Caldwell and Nette Thomas. Many of the artists are featured in Museum collections and have exhibited far and wide.

| Maplewood resident, Dr. Jane Aronson named as one of Glamour Magazine's Women of the Year

One of the evening's most emotional moments was the award to pediatrician Jane Aronson, who works to better the lives of orphans overseas and founded the Worldwide Orphans Foundation.
